Paige Davis is the Curator of Bird Training at World Bird Sanctuary. She is a licensed falconer and a member of the IAATE and NAFA.
Paige received her degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from Penn State University. She spent several years working in the field of wildlife rehabilitation at Centre Wildlife Care with all types of native animals. It is there that she found her love for birds of prey. After completing an internship with WBS in 2014, Paige was hired on as a full time staff member.
Paige focuses on force free training methods using positive reinforcement and freedom of choice. She strives to build trusting, strong relationships with every bird she trains. From bald eagles to barn owls, Paige loves working with raptors in particular, and her favorite birds to work with are falcons.
Her favorite thing about working at the sanctuary is providing birds that would otherwise have nowhere to go with a loving home. Paige cherishes each moment working so closely with what she says are “some of the most incredible creatures on earth!”
