“Sharing our knowledge with visitors and hearing how they appreciate having World Bird Sanctuary as a place to share with family and friends is the best part of my job.”
Roger Holloway is the Deputy Director at World Bird Sanctuary.
Roger began his career with World Bird Sanctuary as an intern in October of 1988, which led to a second internship in spring of 1989. He then went on to work Raptory Theater shows at Milwaukee County Zoo, Grant’s Farm, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Tulsa Zoo and Zoo Atlanta.
Upon return to WBS headquarters full-time in 1991, he took over as Director of Education and held that post until 2005. Once the rehabilitation department moved to the WBS property, and the old Tyson site was closed up, he took over as Director of Operations with the completion of the updated facilities.
