Pat Sexton is the Office Manager at World Bird Sanctuary.
Pat has lived in St. Louis her whole life. Her love of birds comes from her parents: as a youth her father would take her to Alton to see the eagles and her mother had a pet bird. She has been a visitor to World Bird Sanctuary for over 20 years and became a volunteer in 2012. Max is the bird who won her heart.
One of Pat’s most favorite things is assisting with a program and watching the eyes of people in the audience light up with excitement and mostly, seeing that they truly understand our mission. She loves being able to teach guests something new and hearing their stories about the birds and animals that they have encountered.
