International Vulture Awareness Day

Join the World Bird Sanctuary for a fun, family-friendly celebration of nature’s ultimate cleanup crew—vultures! These incredible birds help keep our environment clean and disease-free by preventing the spread of anthrax, botulism, and rabies. Did you know the world’s highest flying bird, soaring over 30,000 feet, is a vulture? Enjoy family-friendly activities, hands-on crafts, and special presentations at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm showcasing their unique behaviors, amazing adaptations, and vital role in keeping our planet healthy.

Join the World Bird Sanctuary for a spook-tacular day of family-friendly fun at Owl-o-Ween! Celebrate Halloween with thrilling activities, creative crafts, exciting games, a costume contest, and captivating bird demos—all centered around the amazing world of owls. Don’t miss our free-flying bird shows at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm, offering up-close views of their incredible behaviors and adaptations. Admission is just $12 per car, so load up the family, wear your best costume, and get ready to have a hoot!
